WindRose "First" Litter

The first litter for WindRose Farm was whelped in December, 1998. "Hooli" and "Lucy" are the proud parents...and they have much to be proud of. All seven of these youngsters that have been shown have finished their championships. The members of this litter have won numerous Specialty majors, Best in Sweepstakes, multiple Best in Specialty Show wins (from the classes, no less), and multiple all breed Bests in Show. Perhaps most exciting, however, was the recognition of Hooli and Lucy winning first place in both the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch classes at the 2000 ISCA National Specialty. To top it off, the WindRose "FIRST" Litter was named the 2000 Litter of the Year for the Irish Setter Club of America's Annual Awards! This litter has exceeded our expectations, and thrilled us beyond our wildest dreams. As always, we are grateful to the incredible owners of this "First" litter, and are delighted to call them "FRIENDS"!

"Zoe"

BISS Ch. WindRose First Impression

Zoe was the first from the litter to finish, by just one day. She finished at 14 months, with two Specialty majors, multiple Best in Sweepstakes and Best Puppy awards, and a Best of Breed over specials from the puppy class. Zoe has a lovely head and balanced, correct movement. Zoe is OFA GOOD. She is owned by WindRose, and co-owned with Sue Melancon in LA. She will be out st shows this fall.

"Hannigan"

BISS Ch. WindRose First and Foremost

Hannigan finished his championship at 14 months with his third major, the day after the San Diego Specialty. He won several Best in Sweepstakes and Best Puppy awards, as well as his BISS over 12 specials at 10 months. Hannigan has a lovely head and incredible ground covering movement. Hannigan is OFA GOOD. He is owned by Jessica Mybeck in AZ.

"Killian"

BIS/BISS Ch. WindRose First Ascent

Killian finished his championship in October, 2000 at 22 months. His wins included Best in Sweepstakes and Best Puppy awards, as well as Specialty majors. He also earned second place in an impressive Am Bred class at the 2000 ISCA national specialty. Killian is OFA GOOD. Killian is owned by Lynn Hill in CO.

"Delta"

Ch. WindRose Flyin' First Class

Delta finished his championship in November, 2000 with all majors. His wins included Specialty majors as well as Best Puppy awards. He also won a large 6-9 class at the 1999 ISCA national, and placed fourth in the Am Bred class at the 2000 national. Delta is OFA GOOD. He is owned by Jan Neill in NH.

"Abbott"

BIS/BISS Ch. WindRose Who's on First?

Abbott finished his championship in July, 2001, completely owner/handled. His class wins include multiple Best in Sweepstakes awards, and his first points came by way of a major from the puppy class. As a special, he has a Specialty and an All Breed Best in Show. Abbott is OFA GOOD. He is owned by Loma Clark in AZ.

"Dodger"

BISS Ch. WindRose Roundin' First

Dodger finished his championship in July, 2001, with four majors in limited showing with his owner. He has multiple breed wins and group placements since starting his specials career in mid 2002. Dodger is OFA EXCELLENT. He is owned by Margaret Berry in CA.

"Erin"

BISS Ch. WindRose First Blush

Erin finished her championship with two specialty majors. She has multiple breed wins from the classes, including an exciting BISS from the classes at the ISC of Southern California. She has a lovely head and beautiful movement. Erin is OFA GOOD. She is owned by Ron & Pam Pickering in CA.

"Patrick"

WindRose First and Goal

Patrick has not been shown due to an injury in his shoulder. He has his Canine Good Citizen title, and he is in training, working towards his Junior Hunter title. Patrick is OFA EXCELLENT. He is a lovely boy, and is owned by Nancy Haslip in MA.
